Karma

Been watching My Name is Earl. Earl is a guy who believes in karma and so do I. Only I didn't expect to learn karma in class.

Last year, I joined a photography class. I noticed the teacher's English wasn't very good but I was able to follow what he meant. Since he made the subject easy to understand, I didn't mind his wrong syntax. That was until he said, "If you want to take good picture, your hand must be attached to your body!"

I almost burst laughing but luckily I was able to control myself. Still, I found the line so humorous that I planned to tell my colleagues. In my head I was already picturing my colleagues falling over in laughter. Since I wasn't paying attention, I walked into one of those standing studio lights and knocked it over! My teacher who was so alarmed, cried out, "Haiaya! That thing not sold in Brunei lah! have to buy in Singapore you know!"

Needless to say, my classmates all laughed and I learnt an important lesson, never, ever make fun of the teacher!
