Last week I had to accompany mum & her BFF for late night window shopping.
"Eh, Si Nazmi buka lakat!"
Sleepy eyed, I dragged my feet to Nazmi- the shop, not the person.
After almost an hour, they were about to leave empty handed.
"Kakak inda bili ka?" asked one of the sales assistant.
"Eh, kamu bila crazy?" asked the BFF.
I almost burst out laughing. Of course she didn't mean about goin' nuts. She meant the crazy sale but much to my delight, the sales man replied, "Ini malam kami crazy." :)
Note: The textile shop next to it once sold tikar sembahyang labelled "Ticker sembayang". I wish I could take a picture.
