Help!

My students saw me from afar and waved excitedly. They started shouting, trying to annoy me.

"Help! I need somebody!"

"Holiday! Celebrate! Oh yeah!"

"Oh, think twice!"

I rolled my eyes at them and walked away. They laughed and high-fived each other, thinking that they've won the battle.

But I was never annoyed at all. It was just an act. Actually I enjoyed their idea of teasing me.

My students don't like English very much and would always make up excuses to not study. That was until I decided to use music in class.

I want them to learn and enjoy English but also make them pay for giving me a hard time. So I turned old-school on them and used The Beatles, Madonna (dressed in rags phase) & topped it off with Phil Collins (he, he!) in an effort to make them the most uncool teens.

The beauty is that they don't even know it.

Next time, it'll be Lionel Ritchie. Hey, it's practice! Meanwhile, this is my favourite classic song.
